I heard that pretty soon US automakers are planning to fix the air intake eliminate the possibility of recirculating interior air just so we can all get a huff of the guy in the car in front of you and that sweet tobacco fragrance. Sometimes I pull up to parking spaces just in front of the smoking zone (usually at the door of a doctors office or hospital) and turn up the intake fan. Secondhand smoke is an all too often missed occasion to give your kids a shot at pulmonary carcinomas! How else can we get rid of them before we have to pay for their college and mom and dad's nursing home?

I think it is awesome that the tobacco industry is going back to basics. Smoking's image has too long been controlled by those who focus on the mere EFFECTS of smoking. It's time we returned to the purely poser qualities. Like "Juno," with the whole quirky, sage, knocked-up teen thing — achieved just by carrying around a tobacco pipe (quirky, sage, Magritte, etc.) and using a guy who has a fathomless crush as a blunt object! (But enough about me.) Luckily, Hollywood has remained true to the idea that smoking is more than an addiction. It's a way to pretend to be someone you'll never be: an independent, free-willed, self-determined, auto-authenticated, original rebel without limits except, you know, with an eensy-teensy addiction you need to feed 20-40 times a day. The film industry's altruism means youngsters will never be short of these inspiring role models, thank goodness. Wait. Altruism ... Altria ... you don't think ... nah ...
